E-Maturity and School Development: When the Tail Wants to Wag the Dog

چکیده

E-maturity as synonym for successful integration of digital technologies in schools can be seen as the golden thread of this paper. It deals with an Austrian case study about recently conducted ICTcertifications within a ministerial e-Learning project. The process of awarding successful Austrian schools with ICT-certificates is founded on an evaluation framework which has been developed independently from other similar European approaches. Finally, it will be argued that understanding the interdependency of successful ICT integration and school development is a key issue to achieve the status of e-maturity.

A new crystal structure reveals a dramatically different conformation; but how does this conformation fit into the force-generating cycle of actomyosin interactions?

Does the Dog Wag the Tail or the Tail the Dog? Cointegration of Indian Agriculture with Nonagriculture

Because infrastructure is crucially linked to both agricultural and industrial development, poor infrastructure development may make it appear as if slow agricultural growth has caused slow industrial ...

Predator-elicited visual signal: why the turquoise-browed motmot wag-displays its racketed tail

Both sexes of the turquoise-browed motmot (Eumomota superciliosa) perform a wag-display in the presence of predators, whereby their long racketed tail is repeatedly rocked side-to-side in a pendulous fashion. I tested 3 hypotheses for the function of the predator-elicited wag-display: 1) pursuit-deterrent signal, 2) warning alarm signal, and 3) self-preservation alarm signal. These hypotheses w...
